Accessibility statement

Last updated 18 August 2026

This statement explains how accessible this store is, the standard we work to, what we know is still imperfect, and who to contact if something here does not work for you.

Our commitment

SHABA DABA DO sells online in Israel, and we want the store to be usable by as many people as possible — including people who browse with a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, need larger text, or cannot use a mouse or a touchscreen precisely.

Accessibility here is not a plugin bolted onto a finished site. The layout rules the store is built to — minimum 44-pixel touch targets at every screen width, form fields large enough that a phone does not zoom when you tap them, and errors written next to the field that caused them — exist for this reason.

The standard we work to

We work to Israeli Standard IS 5568, which adopts the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 at level AA, as required by the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013.

A formal conformance audit against that standard has not yet been completed, and we are not claiming certified conformance until it has. The measures described below are in place today, and the audit is being arranged. We would rather tell you exactly where we stand than publish a claim we cannot evidence.

What is in place

The site is built from standard HTML landmarks and headings, so screen readers and reader modes can navigate it structurally rather than guessing.

Every interactive control — menu, search, bag, gallery, checkout — is reachable and operable by keyboard, and the focused element is visibly outlined so you can see where you are.

Product photography carries text alternatives, and images that are decoration only are hidden from assistive technology rather than announced as meaningless filenames.

Touch targets are at least 44 pixels on every screen size, and form inputs render at a text size that does not trigger zoom on iOS mid-form.

Colour is never the only way information is given: prices, errors and order statuses are all readable as text.

The site works at increased browser zoom and reflows to narrow screens without requiring horizontal scrolling.

Known limitations

This statement is written to be honest rather than reassuring, so here is what we know is imperfect.

Because no formal audit has been carried out yet, there may be barriers we have not found. That is the main limitation, and we are not going to describe it as anything smaller than it is.

Product photography is shot to show colour and texture, and text alternatives describe the product rather than every visual detail of the shot.

Parts of the checkout hand over to an external payment provider. Their page is outside our control, and its accessibility is governed by their own statement — but if you hit a barrier there, tell us and we will help you complete the order another way, including by phone or email.

If you find something we have missed, we want to hear about it. Reports are how this list gets shorter.

Accessibility coordinator

Accessibility requests are handled directly by the store owner.

Email: Shabadabadostore@gmail.com. Sunday to Thursday, 9:00–18:00 Israel time.

If you cannot use part of this site, or you need information from it in another format, contact us and say what you were trying to do. We will help you complete it directly — placing an order by email or phone is always available as an alternative — and we will treat it as a fault to fix, not a favour.

We aim to respond within two business days.

Physical premises

We sell online only and do not operate a shop, showroom or collection point open to the public, so no premises accessibility arrangements apply. If that changes, this section will be updated before the location opens.

Some of our registration details are still being finalised and are not yet published on this page. If you need them — or anything else in this document — before ordering, email Shabadabadostore@gmail.com and we will send them to you.
