Privacy policy

Last updated 19 August 2026

This policy explains what personal information SHABA DABA DO collects when you browse or buy from this store, what we do with it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it under Israeli law.

SHABA DABA DO is a business operating in Israel.

Email: Shabadabadostore@gmail.com. Sunday to Thursday, 9:00–18:00 Israel time.

For anything in this policy — including requests to see, correct or delete your data — use the contact details above.

What we collect

Contact details you give us: name, email address, phone number, and the shipping and billing addresses you enter at checkout.

Order information: the items, sizes and colourways you buy, order value, delivery method and order history.

Payment information: card payments are handled entirely by our payment provider on their own secure page. We never see, receive or store your card number, expiry date or security code. All we keep is a reference number for the transaction and whether it succeeded.

Technical information: our hosting provider records standard server logs, including IP address and browser type, which are used to keep the site running and to detect fraud and abuse. We do not run analytics or advertising trackers — see the cookies section below.

Back-in-stock requests: if you ask to be told when a sold-out product returns, we store the email address for that request, which product it was, and when you asked.

Why we use it

To take, process, pack and deliver your order, and to handle returns, exchanges and refunds.

To contact you about an order — confirmations, shipping notices, and problems with an order you placed.

To operate and improve the store — understanding which products and pages people actually use, and detecting fraud or abuse.

To meet our legal obligations, including tax and consumer-protection record-keeping.

Marketing

We are not currently running a newsletter or collecting email addresses for marketing, and no marketing list is being built from this site. The only emails we send are ones you asked for: your login code, messages about an order you placed, and — if you requested it — a single notice that a sold-out product is back.

If we start sending marketing email, it will be opt-in, this policy will be updated first, and every message will carry a one-click unsubscribe link.

Back-in-stock notifications

When a product is sold out you can ask us to email you when it returns. If you are logged in we use the address on your account and you do not need to type it; if you are not, we use the address you enter on that form. We store that address, which product you asked about, and when you asked — and nothing else.

This is one message about one product, not a subscription, so there is no list to leave. We send it once, when the product goes back on sale, and the request is spent at that point. An address given for this is never used to send you anything else.

If you want a request removed before it is sent, ask us using the contact details above.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers. We share it only with the service providers we need to run the store: Vercel, which hosts the site; Neon, which hosts our database; our email provider, which sends your login codes and order emails; our payment provider, which takes the payment on its own page; and the courier that delivers your parcel. Each may only use the data to provide that service to us.

Some of these providers store data outside Israel. Where that happens we rely on providers that offer a level of protection consistent with Israeli law and standard contractual protections.

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and your browser’s storage only to keep the site working. There are three items, all of them essential, and none of them advertising: "sdd.cart.v1" in local storage, which remembers what is in your bag between visits; "sdd.popup.dismissed" in session storage, which remembers that you closed a popup so it is not shown again in the same browsing session; and "sdd_session", a signed, HTTP-only cookie we set ourselves when you log in, which keeps you logged in for 24 hours.

The session cookie is first-party — we run our own accounts, so it is not set by, or readable by, any third party. We do not currently use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies of any kind. If that changes we will update this policy and ask for your consent first, because these three essential items are the only ones that do not need it.

You can clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. If you do, your bag and sign-in state will not persist between visits.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as required by Israeli tax and consumer-protection law, currently seven years from the end of the tax year in which the order was placed.

A back-in-stock request is kept until that product returns and the notice is sent, or until you ask us to remove it.

Account details are kept until you ask us to delete your account.

Your rights

Under the Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981 and its regulations you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have inaccurate information corrected, and to ask that information be deleted where we have no continuing legal basis to keep it.

You can also withdraw consent to marketing at any time, and object to your details being kept in a database used for direct-mail marketing.

Security

The store is served over HTTPS and card details are entered directly with our payment provider. We restrict internal access to order and customer data to the people who need it.

No online service can promise perfect security. If a breach occurs that is likely to affect you, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.

Children

The store is not directed at children under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy as the store changes. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version, and material changes will be announced on this page.

Some of our registration details are still being finalised and are not yet published on this page. If you need them — or anything else in this document — before ordering, email Shabadabadostore@gmail.com and we will send them to you.
